IU’s agency, Loen Tree, has announced that she will be donating all of her concert profits to the victims of the Sewol ferry accident.

She will be performing a total of 8 shows over a course of 8 days, from the 22nd to the 25th of May, as well as the 29th of May to the 1st of June at Seogang University’s Mary Hall

On the 27th and 28th of April, British singer Connie Talbot had a concert in Korea and donated all of her concert profits to the victims of the Sewol ferry accident as well.

Meanwhile, IU is also planning to release a remake album of some of Korea’s classic songs, sung in her own unique way.
