This girl made Season 2 what it was. She totally deserves a thread

Andie was a great addition to the Creek. She made the Creekers more interesting. Meredith Monroe is an amzing actor. I love all the movies I\'ve seen of hers. She definately deserves a thread.

I loved Andie, and I thought that Meredith Monroe did a wonderful job in playing her.

I think what I loved best about Andie was her optimistic and enthusiastic spirit, which stood in stark contrast to the practiced cynicism of the rest of the characters, and I especially loved how she believed in Pacey and inspired him to have the confidence to do well in school and overcome a lifetime of neglect and bad treatment by his family. I also loved how she later encouraged him to pursue his feelings for Joey, even though she was breaking her own heart in the process, and how she did her part to get Pacey, Dawson, and Joey to realize how important their friendship was. I thought Andie was a wonderful character, and I was so sorry that they wrote her off the show.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts here. I agree with everything you said about this character concerning Season 2. After Kevin Williamson left though, it all went downhill. Andie was written so much out of character (along with most of the other "Creekers") that she was unrecognizable to me. But, during Kevin\'s "reign", she was my favorite character.

Andie is one of those characters, that took a piece of your heart with her because she was just inspiring and she was a good character, i hated how they destoyed her character when she cheated on pacey, i believe that the character shouldnt have been written off as that, because thats not who she really is. I think the writers could of found others way to break pacey and andie up, without it affecting how andie is as a person.....

Andie was such a great character she had great energy and was a great addition to the cast I thought. It\'s such a shame the writers did not use her better in season 3.

Joey:I know that there\'s a part of me that will be in love with you for the rest of my life.

I always thought Andie brought the best out of people especially Pacey. She one reason I fell in love w/ S2 w/o her and P/An relationship I might never gave DC a real chance. I think MM acted her butt off in S2, JJ and her had great chemistry together. I also wish that they never wrote her off the show, and as much as I like Audrey (not w/ Pacey) I would rather had Andie instead of her of course this IMO. Thank you opening this thread she deservers all the recognition she can get and no matter how much PS try to wipe her character out of existence over the years . I glad to that people haven�t forgotten her and what her character did for the show.

Ellasblues - I agree, Andie did bring the best out in Pacey.

I was and still am a huge Andie fan. Her relationship with Pacey was one of the highlights of season 2. Meredith Monroe was awesome in season two. Her and JJ had amazing chemistry and I would like to see them work together again.
