in my opinion Arthur doesnt worship gwen ...he respects her еще than anyone in his life and trust her whereas his Название order him not to. Thats why Arthur's trust and Любовь for gwen is beautiful ( arthur trusted morgana/uther because she was family but she never "earned" his trust for example ) arthur has always been shy when it comes to express feeling for his guenievere so its hard to say BUT he put her on a pedestal because he always listen to what she says , he take her Совет and find comfort in her ...he knows that she has a good сердце and that since the very beginning of the show...he is ready to give up his life , to desobey to his father , to give up his трон , to kill morgana if he has to FOR HER . their dynamics in season 4 will be еще interesting since he will see her a HIS Queen ( and so worship her in a certain way)
No. "Worship" is usually reserved for someone или something out of reach not for romantic love. Arthur sees Gwen as a kind-hearted, strong woman that he would like to spend his life with as equal partners. Not some unobtainable entity.
I would hate to see them in a relationship where one of them loses the ability to think for themselves and just goes along with what the other says. Arthur really noticed Gwen when she called him out on his bad behaviour (1x10) and again in 2x02. I don't think Arthur would hesitate to do the same. I hope this is what we see from them in S4. That's how a couple grows together. Not by putting each other on pedestals.
