In my opinion, he chose some the best singers as his musical role models. Michael was in a league of his own when it came to singing; as a matter of fact, he could do a good impression of Johnny Mathis.

Quincy Jones has talked about his time working with Michael Jackson, saying they came together by accident.

Michael and Frank were in their limo on the way back to the suite after another very long day. Michael looked out the window admiring the grand sights of New York City.
