RTS was a badge applied to Pontiacs inthe late 70's and early 80's. It stands for Radial-Tuned Suspension, meaning the chassis was designed to use radial tires. Was RTS any different than the car without it? I could never tell. But the answer is that it was really just a marketing gimmick. My mom's Parisienne and the Grand Prix I once owned both had RTS dash badges.
