​After years of Twitter spats amongst fans, heated workplace debates and some mild screams in the school yard, artificial intelligence can finally answer one of the most important questions in pop culture today - who is the hottest member of One Direction?

Basically, a Swiss university has created a website to coincide with dating app BLINQ that tells you how good looking you are by measuring your facial dimensions, claiming that it can "predict 76% of the ratings correctly solely based on an image".​ Sounds legit.

So after running our own images through numerous times until we got a younger age and a better rating, Digital Spy decided to see how the One Direction boys fared against each other...

The group\'s lothario has failed to knock the robot off its feet with his dashing good looks, but he still got a "nice" rating. However, it also thinks he\'s a woman and four years older than he actually is. Awkward.

Niall\'s baby face has paid off in spades here, as the app is convinced he\'s two years younger than his actual age of 22. He\'s also described as a "nice" looking guy, which is a fair assessment.

The robot has got Payno\'s age spot on here, recognising that he is 22 years old. Liam was also rated "nice" for his handsome face, meaning that One Direction have scientifically been branded one of the nicest groups in pop.

All bow to Louis Tomlinson and his "godlike" looks. The app even got his age, 24 years old, absolutely correct. So there you have it - artificial intelligence has crowned dad-to-be Louis T as the hottest member of One Direction. 

Although he\'s long left the group, you didn\'t think we\'d leave Zayn Malik out, did you? The Bradford heartthrob couldn\'t match Louis in the looks department, but also got a "nice" rating like the rest of his former 1D bandmates. That said, the app does think he\'s three years older than he actually is.
