because they were something unique, something unexpected. something what was missing in OTH for such a long time. also, it was probably the best storyline in s7 [not including that katie-freak thing].

I completly agree with Nibylandija.

I think Quinn/Clay are cute, she helps him to slowly move on from Sara. I don't ship them but I like them

I really didn't think Clay/Sara were that unique of a couple. How they ended was tragic, of course, and showing Clay having to move on was an interesting SL. But if Sara hadn't died, I don't think I would see anything particularly special about them. They'd be like another Clay/Quinn to me. I like them but I don't really care about them.

I do seem have a tendency to like what everyone else dislikes and vice versa though. It makes these contests a real bummer for me ;)

+ Also I haven't finished S7 yet so I haven't actually seen the psycho SL. IDK if I've missed any Clay/Sara or Clay/Quinn that would make me change my mind?

I agree, they are unique couple, it was true love and great story and I like them, but it's so special only because Sara died, it's special because it's tragic, if she hadn't died it would be just another couple like Quinn & Clay nothing special...

For me it's actually pretty tied between Clay & Sara and Clay & Quinn, I think I like both couples equally, but Sara is not even alive, she's not there anymore... Clay & Sara had a beautiful story but it's over now...

i agree with nibylandija, clay&sara were hands down the best part of season 7. the fact that i could fall in love with 2 completley random new characters in 1 epi, shows how ahmazing their love story was. deffo something that was missing from OTH for a long time. they had me sold with "on the count of two". sure the sara death adds to the tragic love story, but even if sara were alive i would have LOVED them. they were resfreshing, sweet, cute, realistic, the whole college sweethearts thing was adorable. (remeber i loved the clay/sara SL, NOT the crazy psycho stalker thing, soo unnecessary). but yea clay and quinn on the other hand, OMG why are they still here! soo random, unnecessary, cheesy, and boring as hell. the only reason theyre together is cuz the writers needed to hook up the new characters. soo predictable uugh i HATE them. i think i hate them more than i hate leyton, and thats saying something, seriously, leyton had a point, wheras these 2 i seriously think should just go die, oh wait they got shot in the finale, YAY! lol

I like Brulian but s7 was horrible for them.I actually started rooting for a Julian/Alex pairing because they were more interesting. After the first couple of episodes..Brulian wasn't the same.As for Clay/Sara....they better be one of the top 2 couples(along with Naley ). They were so unexpected and three words come to mind when I think of them....short,subtle and sweet!
I really hope Clay/Quinn get voted out! There was a time when I was a fan of them but the actress who plays Quinn(forgot her name) just made it unbearable for me to actually enjoy watching them anymore because of her lack of good acting. Not to mention they were so cheesy!! Even with fact that they were predictable and really cheesy...if the actress had decent acting then I would have probably liked them a whole lot more!
I don't know yet if Naley's my #1..they were sorta boring towards the end but they were SO MUCH BETTER than Clay/Quinn AND Brooke/Julian this season.

^ yea im with Dansea08, im deffo voting clay/sara for number 1, cuz frankly they diserve it, Bju was Blahh and naley, as much as i love em, always end up getting boring.

But since Clay and Sara existed for, like, 3 episodes....I had to pick them. Yeah, they're epic but c'mon...! ^^ Of course you have to think of Clay and Quinn as a boring couple after we got to know Clay and SARA...but you're right...it's Sara's death that made their relationship and sl beautiful and tragic. So what? Quinn has to die now or what? xD

I don't now why, because it was only one episode that showed their relationship and how she died. But in that one episode I got pretty attached to their story and it was so heart wrenching when she died. I usually don't get emotional watching tv shows but that episode really got to me.
