\'Community\' Season 6 coming in early 2015, bringing Paget Brewster and Keith David with it

It only seems fitting that someone from the TV series that inspired the "six seasons and a movie" rallying cry on "Community" would appear in its sixth season.

Keith David, one-time star of "The Cape" -- the short-lived NBC show that Abed proclaimed would take over the pop-culture world with "six season and a movie" way back in "Community" Season 2 -- will appear on "Community" Season 6, which will stream on Yahoo. Production is set to start Nov. 17 for an early 2015 premiere.

Joining David in Season 6 is Paget Brewster, who has no connection to "The Cape" but did appear on an episode of "Community" Season 5. She\'s apparently playing a different character this time around -- Francesca "Frankie" Dart, a consultant hired to help fix Greendale\'s many, many problems.

David, meanwhile, will play Elroy Patashnik, a retired scientist embarking on a new chapter of his life. He most recently starred on FOX\'s "Enlisted," which Yahoo alas did not pick up for a second season.
