Peanuts fansite

I am thinking about making a fansite for the Популярное comic strip Peanuts. The site would consist of collecting virtual peantus clip art and would be strictly a fansite and as a non profit site. Would I be able to do this and not be conflicting copyright laws, as I do see lots of fansites Ты Обои from Популярное cartoons. Thank you, also would anyone here be willing to play it? thank Ты :)
