Brian May reveals details of Freddie Mercury biopic

Queen guitarist Brian May has revealed details of the forthcoming Freddie Mercury biopic on his website.

He confirms that the film – starring comedian and Борат звезда Sacha Baron Cohen as the singer – will be ready for release in 2014, following some setbacks.
Brian May says: "The pieces are all falling into place, though we are now on a slightly later schedule - filming is now scheduled to start in the Spring, with Sacha Baron Cohen playing Freddie."

He adds: "The film should be ready for release early in 2014. We did make some other plans, but they will have to stay under wraps for now....

QUEEN звезда BRIAN MAY will always regret the fact he never got the chance to perform the songs I WANT IT ALL and THE MIRACLE with late pal FREDDIE MERCURY.

The guitarist has revisited the two promos for upcoming DVD Queen Greatest Video Hits and he reveals his frontman was ill when he shot the short films in the months leading up to his AIDS-related death in 1991.

The Queen guitarist is currently on a UK tour with theatrical singer Kerry Ellis - whose album 'Anthems' he helped pen - and admitted not a день goes by when the legendary singer isn't in his thoughts as he is so ''proud'' of their work together in the band.
