I agree that I think Популярное people are the meanest. All the populars in my school are complete b*tches, including the men!!!
Me and my Друзья aren't Популярное but we laugh a hell of a lot еще and our friendship doesn't reside on who shagged who или whatever someone done at the weekend.
The Популярное ones are only Популярное because they don't give others the chance and they have the same personality (drinking at the weekends, new bf every night)
I have loads of Друзья too but we're not Популярное and we don't wanna be, we have a much better time just us and we don't need to worry about anyone making rumours up about us.
No offense to any populars on this, it's just taken from the people in my school.

Get a fucking grip!! Ты are so self-contradictory when Ты say that Популярное people are the meanest. Ты are judging people!! Just because Ты can't get enough Друзья to be so called "popular", then Ты have to disparage other people! Well, have Ты ever thought about that they're Популярное for a reason? MAYBE it is because of their sense of humor, MAYBE its because they're nice to their friends! This is harassment, shame on you!!

Well,some Популярное people in my school are nice. I mean they never gave Ты a chance and that is mostly because they are shy. But does that mean that Ты don't have to give THEM a chance? Most Популярное girls seem mean but deep,deep inside of them;who knows? Maybe they want to be friends. Some of Ты people are just being judgemental. Just because in a lot T.V shows the Популярное people are mean,it doesn't mean that they are in your school. Please,try giving them a chance. Ты know why? Because I am Друзья with a VERY nice girl and guess what? She is VERY popular. All I ask is for Ты guys to give them a chane. People who are being judgemental:I think that YOUR being unfair.




And did Ты guys see that? I just made my Вопрос with no swearing или anything mean in it and expressed my opinion in it unlike most of the other people who just type in Трофеи and yell.

I'm part of the Популярное group, so...

while some of us are mean, there are still a lot of us who are nice and open to everyone. Even lots of the Популярное guys are like that. At least at my school. I'm onlyy mean to others if I have a good reason to not like them. But I Любовь nerds, they're really funny. My best guy friend is a total nerd. =]

I agree, sometimes Популярное people can really be mean, and that IS because they're confident... but in the wrong sort of way. There are some Популярное people who are really nice and try to include you. But there are also quite few who bully their way to the top...

Thank goodness that on Fanpop evrybody's popular... EXCEPT the mean ones.

Some Популярное kids at my school are nice, but I always wondered how most got any Друзья when they aren't very nice at all.
They're not better people than us. I think just one of my Друзья is nicer than half of them. We have the talent.

Well, not all Популярное people are mean, but sometimes, yes, it does seem that way. At my school, most of the Популярное people are mean. A couple are nice however.
I still don't think we should stereotype all Популярное people as being mean.

Популярное people are used to getting things handed to them on a silver plate. They think they're "it" - that they're above everyone else.
But that won't last. Ever heard of big рыба in a small pond?? When they leave for college they'll soon find out that they're not as brilliant as they thought they were!!

I know some really horrible Популярное people. The kind of people who completely disregard your feelings and slag Ты off to their Друзья in your presence. I wish they knew how much I hate them, but I'm too nice a person to act the way they do. I despise them from afar.

I totally agree! The "popular" people in my school act like they're sooo much better then everyone else and have to rub it in their noses. They do that thing where they act like they've been there, done that and know everything there is to know about everything. They start there own "thing" as well, this group of girls in my school some how developed, what I would call a fetish, over beavers. They сказал(-а) it all the time, and of course because my school is mostly made up of, what I like to call "sheople" it automatically became a common word for "cool". I sh** Ты not.

well i agree in some ways,but the only reason these people are so called 'popular' is because everyone either hates them -which gives them a lot of public eye,or looks up to them because they look nice and confident.
They anoy me most of the time. me and my Друзья arent exactly popular,we just like to keep to ourselves,but like i say everyone knows us because were all nice and like to have a good time,they dont like us for all the wrong reasons,even though some are nice but thats not the point.
so called 'un-popular' people dont have to be like everyone else,its right be who Ты are inside!! I was put up to that task years ago,we can all be Hot and Smart in one without having stupid cliques but this hating stuff will never change,people make fun of 'emos' and even 'preps',its just unfair that these labels take over school,its like there peoples own lives....
If Ты feel sad about wanting to be like one,then dont:)Its better to say in your own круг of Друзья who like Ты for who Ты are even if theres only a few.Most people want to be Друзья with them to boost there image anyway.Sometimes it gets pretty sad:)

Well it may seem that way but in all reality the unpopluar have just as many buttholes as Популярное people do. When I went to school I foun that a lot of the butts came from the unpopular crowd.
I don't think it'd be fair nor corect to say Популярное people are еще butts than unpopular.

i think girls are just bitchy in general personally speaking i think its just how we are made!!:-)but in my school i wouldnt say there is any one group of people who are Популярное not everyone likes the same people, and i think its very unfair that when Ты go to school everyone is divided up into groups anywayz i think its sad :-(

well i dont really think Популярное people are ALWAYS mean. it depends on who they are..their personality. they can be if their personality is mean или something but it doesnt mean they have to be. i am Популярное and have a lot of Популярное Друзья and really non of them are mean. but they can be mean because of their confidence and popularity they may just gotten used to being so good или something. but many people have different opinions about it soo yeah!:) and Любовь anykind of person like nerds или something..i just care bout their personality

Well i can't say much for the general public или about other schools etc.
But when i was in school the 'popular' crowd as you've named it, where mostly people who had all the new gadgets and clothes. The 'popular' girls in my school would always plaster themselves in make-up, dye their hair blonde and wear розовый and golddigger outfits and reebok/nike and all those named brands. It's true that they can be exceptionally mean, i myself have suffered under their tyranny. When i was in school they used to bully me because i was different. I didn't dye my hair, i wore the school uniform, i didn't go to school in trainers, i always had my work in on time and therefore i was labelled 'un-popular' because i made an effort until i got into my 3rd год when i though what's the point?
However, even though i suffered under these people calling me names, pushing me down in the playground etc, i had a vast круг of friends, some who were even Друзья with them. Not all Популярное people are mean.
Anyone can be mean, in fact we all are and anyone who says they have never been mean is a liar in my eyes.
A pattern i've discovered when i was in school and even now i see it when i go to work или go shopping etc is that any person on their own are polite, will chat to you, help Ты out. But as soon as they're backed up by their Друзья they get all 'hard-core' and act 'cool'.
In my opinion it's not about how confident they are, it's about how they want to see themselves and how they want their Друзья to see them.

I'm going to tell Ты about a girl named Roxanne who was in the same math class as me and was 'popular'. She was beautiful, funny and always made time to come talk to me even with her friends. Her Друзья used to say, right in front of me, 'why are Ты talking to her?' and a credit to Roxanne she always replied 'because i like her.' Roxanne was one of the Популярное crowd but she was extremely nice.
Another girl called Katrina who was also in the same math class was popular, and she picked and bullied me relentlessly for 3 years until one день i just snapped and beat her up. I'm not proud of that fact, in fact i look back on it now and think i could have done better, i could have walked away. But from that moment on Katrina never touched me, she never called me names and Ты know why? Because she was scared of me. And that broke my heart. She didn't want to bully me which was good, but she also didn't want to be my friend. Bullies are not nice. Популярное или un-popular, goth, emo, prep, chav, skater whatever the label, people are people and in every single group Ты will have nice people and mean people. Ты just have to find them and make an effort to get them to know Ты better.
