The internet is a place for people to be themselves...when they can't be in the real world.
They shouldn't criticized but people have diff opinions and viewpoints, so that's how conflict arises.
No one's being hard, just being themselves.

Well...

- people could have a bad день and be on edge
- people feel bad about themselves so they make someone worse than they are to make themselves feel better
- people disagree with one's opinion and don't see that people's values could be different
- they get bullied in real-life and in order to get rid of the anger and humiliation is to throw it out on the internet
- they're jackasses.

If I'm being mean on the internet it'll mostly be because I have a really bad день :P. And I'm just guessing here, I don't want to offend anyone!

When Ты have any group of people together that are дана free-reign to post whatever they want, people's opinions are going to differ, and when that happens, tempers flare. Esspecially because people act differently online than they would in the normal world because they know they can't be held accountable for their actions, and they like to pretend to be someone else.
In short: some people are overly cruel, and some people are instigators, but as long as there are humans there will be stupid behavior.
