can Ты wear jewelry in the shower?

i got this new sterling silver faith inspiration ожерелье from target -_-
i've had some other fancier еще expensive faith/cross necklaces in the past, like this old pendant that i got from my mom that was about 20 years old made from sterling silver, and i wore it in the душ and it never rusted или changed color или anything. it mostly sparkled(:
so i wondered if i could wear this new ожерелье in the душ или to the pool или пляж, пляжный too? would it change Цвета или rust или tarnish? its kinda cheap O.o
