Okay, did an error called DEP come up? If it did, it's easy to fix.

(The start menu>right click computer> properties> advanced system settings> [approve]> performance, settings>data execution prevention> add this:
C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin\TS3EP01.exe)

HAHAHAH! The first thing I thought of when Ты сказал(-а) Ты have major trouble was erectile dysfunction, LOL. Dunno why.
Well, I don't know anything about Sims, and I don't like sims, but one thing I can recommend is system restore. Now I have XP, so this Далее bit may vary depending on what OS Ты have. But, go to start. Then click programs, then click accessories ,then click system tools, then click system restore. Then, follow the prompts. Once Ты reach a calendar thing, find the день on which your game started messin' up. Then, click the first день before that that has a prepared....restore...thingy, and click it. Then, everything that Ты have installed on your computer, and any system changes will be restored back to the way they were on that day, and hopefully, any software или system changes that have clashed with sims will be....rectified //shot ^_^
