Nothing. They're words that, for some reason, the "upper" portion of society has deemed unacceptable, the true reasons as to why they're considered bad shrouded by the same mystery that every long-term thing like that is. They're just words, just sounds.
When they're over-used a lot of the time, they're bad in my opinion (more like annoying because they can't think of anything else to say). Saying them occasionally out of frustration is acceptable, though.
Well, honestly they are mostly used as insults, as most people are saying. I don't cuss because it doesn't seem right for me. But my mom cusses and I don't mind cussing.

exactly, my dad cusses and im fine with it. cursing just isn't for me.
