My mom sometimes does that to me too. But only its not too too too hard. Of course that's not right. It's wrong. A parent isn't supposed to hurt you, their supposed to protect you. I would call the police, talk to someone. my mom does that too, but mainly i think its because my dad does it to her :( when i was under the age of 12, i just took it, but now that im 17, i just hit her back, and curse her out until she leaves the room.
