Does anyone here remember dial-up?

I remember I had it a while back.. it was so slow I could run a lap around my neighbourhood before the page loaded. <<Well, that was an exaggeration, but not by far.

Anyway, I remember the dialling sound coming from the computer as it connected as well..and my parents always complained about the phone line being unplugged. Haha.

Yes, i loved the noises it made when it connected.

yep. I remember how slow it was. Ты could go away for 3 hours, get a snack see a movie come back and hey! It's halfway done!

I do! Lmfao. I remember using it at my sisters hours on end. It was so slow starting up.. and that noise will forever haunt me. Then it was slow as hell on the internet. And so dumb how Ты basically had to choose between phone and computer. xP

That is one thing I DON'T miss about my childhood -_- I freaking hated it! Thank God for the newer internet
