Nope. If Ты are sure youd be better without them and they are overtly negative and weighing down your life, then nope. If Ты dont want to be their friend, simply dont. Its better than pretending to like them and get along with them when Ты really just find them boring and negative.

It would be both insulting and disrespectful to the other person to lead them on as if nothing is wrong. If Ты do not think Ты can be their friend или Ты simply do not want to be. Then just end it.

I reckon Ты did the right thing, don't worry about it.

Well, my opinion doesn't really differ from the Назад ones either. If that person weighed Ты down, that kind of Friendship was not meant to be. Друзья are people Ты genuinely enjoy their company and also make Ты a better person with their support. That is the kind of Friendship Ты should be striving for. Being real is important so it was the right choice imo !!!!
