bronze is auburn most people call it bronze because it reminds them of a pretty pronze golden color in which, lets just say you were to win a third place medal that would known as bronze and it would be half red and half brown.... and mostly people call bronze since that was more ofhe old fashioned term to call, "Auburn" hair, "Bronze."

Agree with twilightluver, there is def. a red element, because the color Bronze is in direct relation to the metal alloy which is primarly copper which is described as" reddish orange metallic luster" see Wikipedia
