Damien Chazelle\'s new romantic musical, La La Land, Ryan Gosling plays a jazz pianist who falls for Emma Stone\'s aspiring actress in modern day Los Angeles. Waiting for her big break \'Mai\' serves lattes to movie stars in Hollywoodland, whilst \'Sebastian\' scrapes by as a jazz musician playing dingy bars dreaming of one day owning his own club.
