Сверхъестественное Do Ты think it's possible that God was already gone when Lu fell?

I don't think so because didn't Lu fall because he wouldn't bow to humans? That says to me that God was still in charge because obviously Zachariah doesn't give a crap about humans and he (or someone like him) would have been in charge if God wasn't. Unless of course Lu didn't fall because of not respecting humans but something else entirely and the angels in charge just spun it so that the other angels would think that.

Edit: In fact, now that I think about it a little more I've changed my mind. lol

Zach said something like don't you dare disobey us like Lucifer did..the us in Zach's line seems a bit odd...i doubt that he's a huge fan of bowing before humans..so, what if Lu fell for another, not so bad reason..being in hell so long changed him and now he's evil..

Yeah, now that I think about it would make more sense that Lucifer disobeyed the angels-in-charge -maybe he found out that God left the building? And that the orders were coming from Zachariah and Co.?

I doubt God wasn't there, Zachariah just likes to think of himself as the new God, I think that's why he said that.

He's as good a manipulator as demons are, maybe even better considering he's supposed to be on the side of "good".

Something tells me Lucifer and God had beef directly, and other angels who were jealous of Luce exacerbated the situation. Inducing the wrath of God on his favourite, banishing him to the pits. After God does this he's disillusioned with himself and what he created, so he leaves.

Now Lucifer wants to give his bro and sisters a big spank. One of the reasons why I think Zachariah is eager to get rid of him, he doesn't want a spank... So he's getting Dean to do his dirty business. (Is it apparent much that I have the biggest crush on Lucifer?)

I think that Zachariah's use of ''us'' means heaven in general.God has left temporarily the building.God was the one that expelled Lu from heaven and that's why the whole battle between good and evil in the apocalypse is going to take place between God and Lu.They have an ongoing dispute that started from Lu's expulsion from heaven and that's why they'll have to face each other (and their ''armies'')in the end.It doesn't sound logical to me if Lu was kicked out from heaven by some other force and now is going to battle with the next one in charge.
I also agree with Carolina. :)

I think it's possible that god never existed in the story at all. But to be honest i don't really have a clue anymore i guess we'll have to wait and see!

I agree. I don't think god was real in this story. But you never know. If there is evil that means there must be good....or does it?

Lucifer was the highest of the angels, but he was proud and envious. One story says he refused to bow to God himself, another that he refused to bow to Jesus Christ, and yet another that he refused to bow to humans. For one of these reasons, he rebelled and enticed many angels to his side by lying to them. They fought against Michael and the loyal angels, and lost. God kicked Lucifer AND his army out of Heaven; why would he let a bunch of rebels hang around? Yet the show seems to be going on the aspect that it was ONLY Lucifer who got the boot, which doesn't make a shred of sense to me. That tells me that again, Kripke is going to make up his own version of what happened, so really, anything is possible.

But - getting back to the question after all that ramble - I think God was around when Lu fell. I can't see anyone else having the power or the authority to kick him out of Heaven. I tend to agree with Toti that Zach's use of "us" refers to Heaven in general. :D
