So, I was looking at the ending of the game and I was wondering if Sebastian and Co. were already in Ruvik's brain system and they imagined/dreamed it all while being hooked up to the machine.

If Ты noticed in the beginning when they were all riding in the cop car the high-pitched whistle sounded off in the radio BEFORE they even got to the mental institution. So...did Ruvik kidnap them all and project them to think this happened?

There were also files Опубликовано throughout the game that сказал(-а) Sebastian & Co. were missing, so what gives...?
