I don't know what Ты have and haven't seen but some of my избранное are:
the original novel, obviously Phantom by Susan Kay 1925 movie (Lon Chaney) 1943 movie (Claude Rains) 1990 movie (Charles Dance) Yeston/Kopit's Phantom (CD)
Well, how are we defining "good"? Are Ты basing it off of what is the most aesthetically pleasing? Is closest to the original? Has the best quotes? Is worth it JUST so Ты can laugh hysterically at it? If Ты go to the Форумы I've thrown up reviews for a pretty decent assortment of stuff in the Book Club and A/V Club threads. Maybe that will help you.
