Quite obviously. I don't see how anyone picked 'no'. I mean who else? Certainly not Stefan, since it seems there are people who find him boring. Elena maybe, but Damon still wins. Almost everyone loves him. There are just a very few exceptions.

Claudia_bb, I think that numbers on Fanpop are not everything and they dont necessarily represent the public opinion always. :)

But other than that I am pretty sure Damon is the most popular character on the show both by the media, critics and by the general fandom because he is snarky, witty and complec which makes him even more enjoyable :)
