if nature wants the doppelganger together why does it have to been stefan and elena why not stefan and katherine

no it doesn't matter who it is but i dont suppose elena would ever be in Любовь with silas but maybe at one point stefan was in Любовь with katherine but that ship has sailed all all the years they spent apart and stefan and elena were in Любовь at one point so it could happen again
