Julia Hoffman hair tutorial?

PLEASE HELP!
Does anyone know a tutorial that shows Ты how to get your hair like Julia Hoffmans/HBC's hair in the movie? Mine is a bit past my shoulders, thick with body but doesn't hold curls done with a curling iron very well. I'm going dressed like her and I really want to get her hair right! Any help is appreciated!
