After literally hours of going through my closet, I finally found something me and Rachel agreed on. It was a white blouse, dark blue skinny jeans and some knee high converse. I brushed my hair and let it loose down my back. We walked out the door together and to the lounge. Right outside the lounge, my shoes mysteriously untied themselves. Rachel walked in while I retied them. She walked back out, then we walked in together. The lights were off. I flicked them on and everyone jumped up yelling “Surprise”
I screamed and lit my hands with silver fire, ready to attack! They all freaked out and stepped back. I blushed sheepishly.
“Happy belated birthday!” Robin сказал(-а) as he came up to me. “We all pitched in and got Ты one big present” He slipped a blind fold on me.
“So Ты don’t peek” Robin explained before I could protest. He led me around numerous corners. When we finally reached our destination, he took off my blind fold. I nearly fainted from what I saw. It was a gryphon. I walked closer to it and realized it had a collar. Everything was filled in except for the name. I whistled twice loudly and Astéri and Dusk came flying down to the beach. They saw the gryphon and whinnied nervously.
“It’s okay girls. She’s my new pet” I explained
‘What if she eats us?’ Dusk asked
“I’m sure she won’t eat you” I soothed. The gryphon made a sound that sounded like a lion’s roar and the call of an eagle.
“She сказал(-а) she’s a vegetarian” Rachel translated
“See Dusk! She won’t eat you!” I pointed out
‘Fine. But I still get the most lettuce! It keeps my пальто shiny!’ she whinnied
“The real reason I called Ты down here is so Ты can help me pick out a name for her” I explained. I turned around and realized the team was staring at me like I was crazy.
“By the was, I can communicate with Лошади because Poseidon created them out of sea foam and I have Poseidon’s blood in me” I explained
“That makes so much sense!” KF сказал(-а) sarcastically. I snapped my fingers and a bunch of salt water was dumped on him. No one else got a drop on them. I laughed.
‘Oh, oh! How about…wait, is it a girl или boy?’ Astéri asked
“Anima, is the gryphon a girl или boy?” I asked
“She is a girl” Rachel confirmed
‘Oh! How about Scathach или Scatty for short?!’ Astéri suggested
“Scatty, eh? I like it!” I decided. I turned to the gryphon “Your name is now Scatty”
