Why does Pein have so many piercings? They make him look ugly.

It's so Nagato can control him. He uses them to send his chakra into pein and the others. They all have piercings.

because the piercings act as rods that attract chakra.

well he has them because they have many uses: controling, weapons, and they hold или do something with chakra или something like that..... weather или not ppl think he is ugly is their own opinion and i don't really care..... its Masashi Kishimoto's desigin so i like it <3
