My reason contains ALOT of SPOILERS. Don't read it if Ты don't want to. Let's start from when Eren gets kidnap by Reiner and him. He confessed that he nor Reiner ever wanted to hurt people but because they were forced to. And if they don't, Reiner, Annie and him will never be to return to their hometown. Imagine if that happens to you. When I was Чтение that part of the manga, I felt like killing the person who send them to do this, which I suspect the King или Eren's Dad.
