What are some of the plot holes that bother Ты in The Princess and the Frog?

шарлотка, шарлотта not turning into a frog when she kisses Naveen... There are other two that come to mind, but they're еще of plot contrivances than plot holes. In case Ты want to include them:

1. I don't get Doctor Facilier's plan... What does money have to do with getting souls for his shadow friends? He was going to kill Big Daddy with a voodoo doll; why couldn't he do the same to everybody else?

2. This one is infamous: Tiana not realizing Naveen couldn't turn back into a human without her turning back too. Mama Odie makes it quite clear that the spell binds them together.

Well, I don't think the movie has that many plot holes. The problem with the movie, while it's a brilliant film, is that it does have too much going on, which causes it to not flow as well as something like The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King. Холодное сердце has WAAAAAAAAY еще plot holes than The Princess and The Frog does. But here are some plot holes this movie has.

How is it no one noticed that Tiana was missing? I mean, her mother is hardly in the movie but how could Lottie not wonder what happened to her?

How is it when Lottie kissed Naveen she didn't turn into a frog like Tiana did?

Tiana didn't seem to notice that she was still a frog, even though "Naveen" was human and knew there was a fake Naveen. Although Ты could argue that her emotions were clouding her thinking.

Lastly, Dr. Facilier's plan is kind of a plot holes. Why does he need to kill Lottie's dad to take over the town and let his Друзья on the other side take over everyones souls? Why not take over everyones souls and than take over the town? Wouldn't that be easier? Also what is this deal that he has with them that he has to pay them back for? It's pretty complicated!

I agree with most things that are mentioned above. One thing that I could add that the moral was a bit confusing for me.

Tiana starts as a total workaholic and we know that she should have some fun and some freetime and the most important hting is to Любовь and be loved. But in the end when it turns out that Любовь conquers all suddenly Tiana does not care about her restaurant, the money she saved, the amount she worked for it, the tribute for her daddy, not even about what happens to her mom if she stays a frog. She just changes from one moment to the other.

Ok there is the scene where Facilier offers her the restaurant and she says no, but during the whole movie Tiana's work mania was only some kind of comic relief and nothing really serious because everybody cared about the sidekicks, the lovestory and how will they turn back to human. So this was a little fast change for me with no real explanations.

But when they turn back to human she wants to make the restaurant again, which is quite logical, but I just didn't see any signyficant changes in her character. She is working again, the only difference is that now she is dancing while working (like during almost there... so this is really not a big difference), and she is in love. So my main plot hole I could add to the Список is that there wasn't any moral that came through that evidently like in Золушка или in Beauty and the Beast, and that Tiana's work mania (which should be a great deal according to the film) doesn't really adds anything to the story and her character change remains unexplained.

PATF is my Избранное DP movie, and I don't think a lot of the plot holes are actually plot holes, but... how does Facilier know to use that "almost there" line to try to manipulate Tiana into handing over the talisman? Like unless he was hiding out in the old factory and overheard her singing? And how does he know so much about her father, или even that the restaurant was his dream too? There are things he knows about her from overhearing her talking about them at the restaurant, so maybe he just hangs out at the restaurant every день and she's mentioned some of this at some other point?
