Of course, this is coming from someone who refrains from calling anyone ugly, so not sure if my opinion will be well valued.

To be honest, I kind of like the way she looks- unique.

Call me crazy but I've always thought she was kind of pretty. She's only really considered ugly because she's compared to Cinderella. Sure she can't compare to the disney princesses but I think she's still kind of pretty. Her hair is beautiful, her lips are pretty, her eyes are decent, her smile is charming(though would look better without those lines) and her facial structure is nice. It's just her nose and lines that are the problem.

I agree with both of you (above). I think she is pretty. Never thought she was ugly. Just not the type of beauty Cinderella is.

I think she's kinda pretty in Cinderella II but she's definitely not ugly.

I'm in love with her hair it's so pretty in the sequel. Her lips are pretty and her eyes are okay. But the nose and the lines stop her from being pretty IMO.

I forgot to mention she's ugly in the first movie though.

Her lips are actually a lot like Mulan so I think it's pretty, her eyes don't have detail but theiy're okay, the only thing that bugs me is her nose and the lines. She only looks ugly when her hair is held back with a clip in the first movie. She's got nice, wavy, long hair. In a way she's attractive.

There are times when she doesn't have "pretty moments" but I would still say that she is pretty :)

just because she's nicer on the second and third movie, doesn't mean she becames prettier. maybe on the inside, but not on the outside. it's the same for Quasimodo

She actually kind of does because for one she becomes more attractive because of the animation quality in the third one(same goes for Cinderella and Charming). Plus in the second movie she does get a make over and looks a lot better. Besides I never thought she was ugly. She doesn't have to look like a disney princess to be pretty.

I think other than her nose (which, yes, is a major flaw of hers but not something that would make her look ugly because nose is not the only facial feature and not the only thing that defines person's attractiveness) she doesn't have anything about her appearence to make her actually "ugly".

Sorry, but her face is kinda weird-looking.

what keeps her from moving up into "plain" territory is the really pronounced lines around her mouth - it makes that part of her face look super old and saggy while the rest of it is so youthful.

I did like her hair after her makeover in the second movie, though.

I think the lines around her mouth make her look more distinguished and gives detail to her face. She's got a cute round nose too. I know it helps that she learned to be nicer but she was never ugly, just off-standard. Nothing wrong with that.
