The others are just more popular. So many people view Ariel as selfish and spoiled. Not only parents but many teens think the same way. Cinderella and Belle on the other hand are thought to be amazing role models.

Actually, Belle is criticized for having little to no flaws and Cinderella is criticized for being a victim to the sit back and let somebody else save the day. That along with the Ariel criticisms is part of what makes it so hard for me to vote.

Cindy and Belle are at the top while Ariel is at my bottom ...plus the average audience knows that what Ariel did was bad because people makes jokes about it all the time but the other two ...not so much and yes these 3 are the most popular in the world :3

Cindy and Ariel are kind of the representers for DP Franchise, especially Cinderella. They are wider known and more popular.

From what I got in the question is most popular not loved and I think all 3 of them are extremely popular but Cinderella and Ariel are very popular (also now Rapunzel) Belle is like 0.1% less popular if someone else was a choice I would have picked them.

Sorry, but I actually think Ariel is the most popular worldwide. No matter where you go, Ariel is sure to have the most amount of people pipe up with "I LOVE HER!" Belle is close but a little below her, and while Cinderella is pretty popular with little kids, the straw feminist movement and mentality condemns her as weak, passive, anti-feminist, a bad role model, etc.

I actually don't think Cinderella is as popular as people say. Sure, she was pretty popular until the 90's or 80's, but then her popularity started to fade away. That's my opinion, and I completely agree with Tygers_Eye.
