This one actually has a personality and I enjoy her

I'm not really sure. I love how 2014's Aurora has a lot more personality and isn't ummm "weak" but she lacks the elegance and shyness that the original Aurora had.

The new Aurora has more personality and she's more funny and bubbly, but she lacks the elegance and grace the classic Aurora has.

Or "equally", I'm not sure. But this Aurora is shyer, more responsible and poised, so...

I don't have an opinion yet on 2014's Aurora, Maleficent stole the show.

Maybe slightly more the 1950's version, but generally , yes, I like both equally.

It goes like this. I like the Aurora of the 1959 version, and I like the Maleficent of the 2014 version. Does that make sense to anybody?

I haven't watched Maleficent.

New Aurora has more personality? from reviews I've read she hasn't got any. She sounds pretty flat. And Elle isn't really known for bringing personality to her characters.

Aurora isn't supposed to be a bubbly, perky girl who plays in the mud or whatever. I'm tired of them using cliche personality traits to "liven up" characters who are better as they are. None of them need a personality change. it takes away from their unique personalities.

The original is so much better

Because I haven't seen Maleficent! From a lot of trailers and spoilers, I think I'll like this one more anyway. <33

@AudreyFreak, it's not like she is a very complex character, but she definitely has more personality. Also what do you mean "Aurora isn't supposed to be"? Who says how Aurora is supposed to be? I personally found the new one more likable and she did WAY more in his version than singing, dreaming and crying, without her... I won't reveal anything but she helped a lot. And also, even though I love the old Aurora's personality, it's not unique, at least not more unique than the new one. You should watch the movie before you judge.
