My fourth favorite Disney Princess movie.

Not the best movie made (very poorly constructed plot, probably thanks to one of the directors leaving halfway), but my favorite of the CG ones.

I love it but I still resent it for the false advertising and it still has a lot of problems, although not as many as Frozen does. For what it is, I do love it but I really wanted it to be what the trailers were advertising.

It's good, but it annoys me because I feel it could have been GREAT.

Not that I am a Pixar fan to begin with but I feel it's definitely one of the weakest and least original Pixar films.

It gets better every time I watch it.

It's in my bottom two for my favorite DP movies, and although I like all of them I have my problems with Brave. I love the score, the mother daughter relationship and the Celtic vibe, but I hate how the movie tries to project strong female characters (Especially in the advertising) and don't fulfill it in said movie, as if carrying around a bow and not wanting a man automatically makes you bad*ss. I love Merida, but I don't like how they try to have her represent a trope and do a sucky job at it. My main problem with Brave is how they show men in this movie. "I need a strong female character for this movie because the public wants it so lets make all the men look like idiots to make her look better." Couldn't Brave have had three strong young suitors and just have Merida NOT want to get married? Nope, because apparently it would be crazy talk to have Merida turn down normal men so they have to be idiots. And did I mention the lack of woman in Brave? Let's see there is Merida, Elinor, The Witch, and that other woman who is always scared. EVERYONE ELSE IS A GUY! on top of this the movie promises a heroine who never caves in and fights for gender equality yet the whole movie is basically centered around Merida learning to accept the fact that she's around to make the men happy because she has breasts. So yeah, I have my likes, I have my dislikes.

Don't like it...I can't hate it, because they tried, but Brave has too many problems for me. Sk8er_grl more or less voiced most of them In my case...I also don't like Merida. So, there is that.
