Yes to wanting to see a movie from the point of view of the villain, but not like Maleficent tried to do.

With Maleficent we got the story of the anti-hero, not the villain.

I guess the above comments reflect my opinions pretty well.

Maleficent was awful! They don't need to ruin the reputations of any more of their villains.

Only if they kept the villain's character intact and not turn them into a misunderstood anti-hero. "Maleficent" was less a perspective flipped "Sleeping Beauty" and more like somebody's bad fan fiction.

As long as it's not a Wicked rip-off like Maleficent, which went out of its way to change all the charming characters from the original film...

With any of them I would be happy. Except for Mor'du, I don't give a damn.

If they do not do it in such a stupid out of character way they didi it in Maleficient I think it's ok.
