Because it was a bit awkward at first, and only romantic on Naveen's end. It was romantic for both Belle and Beast.

While this one was very difficult, for me the choice was made by the song itself. That can make all the difference in mood, and Beauty and the Beast blows Ma Belle Evangeline out of the bayou. My choice came down to Newman (who writes the same song over and over) and Menken (who has won more music Oscars than anyone else)

They don't even attempt to kiss. The song is a bit dull. I luv when Naveen and Tiana almost kiss! Very romantic!

Awwww Beauty and The Beast is so cute....so is the pond scene but dont you think the look on beast's face after she puts her head on his chest is the cutest thing you have ever seen....how happy he is...it was so touching.
