I liked the Pete's Dragon remake. Can't think of any other sequels or remakes I liked better than the originals. >.>

I agree. Their remakes and sequels can never be compared with overall quality to any of their classic films. The only film that I can think of off the top of my head, that could match up to its prior, would be Sing 2. But, when it comes to Disney, I've got nothing. I'm really hoping they will bounce back off this "remake era" and bring back the creativity there once was during the "Disney Renaissance".

They made a lot of awful sequels, at least the worst of the remakes are still of reasonable quality. I have more time for the remakes in general - some I don't care much for, others I really like.

For me, the sequels are better than the remakes.
