The first clip from the animated all-animal world of 'Zootopia' (opening March 4).

Idris Elba is large and in charge as the cape buffalo Police Chief Bogo in this exclusive first clip from Disney\'s animated 

Directors Byron Howard and Rich Moore\'s all-animal

(opening March 4), is fully mammal, right through Bogo\'s police force.

In the clip, Elba runs through a spirited morning meeting, ignoring his new recruit, Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin), the first ever bunny on the force.

Elba told USA TODAY in October that he had some serious "shoulder  envy" over his Bogo character and said he "grabbed the part by the horns."

The clip sets up the story which features Hopps joining forces with a shady fox Nick Wilde (Jason Bateman) to crack a missing mammal case before a 48-hour deadline.

also features fellow animals including Mayor Leodore Lionheart (J.K. Simmons) and Yax the Yak (Tommy Chong).

Idris Elba provides the voice of Chief Bogo, head of the Zootopia Police Department, in Disney\'s Zootopia, in theaters March 4. In this exclusive look at the animated film\'s extended cast, Elba says he took the part by the horns. "I\'ve definitely got some shoulder-envy," he says. 

Oscar winner Octavia Spencer (The Help) voices Mrs. Otterton. 

Oscar winner J.K. Simmons (Whiplash) provides the voice for Mayor Leodore Lionheart, the noble leader of Zootopia. The mayor coined the city’s mantra: “In Zootopia, anyone can be anything.” 

Tommy Chong voices Yax the Yak, a most enlightened, laid-back bovine in Zootopia. 

Nate Torrence lends his voice to the Zootopia Police Department’s charming cheetah, Benjamin Clawhauser. He loves his doughnuts and his pop stars. 

Jenny Slate voices Assistant Mayor Bellwether, a sweet sheep with a little voice and a lot of wool. 

Alan Tudyk (Frozen) returns to Disney’s recording studio as the voice of Duke Weaselton, a small-time weasel crook with a big-time mouth. 

Raymond Persi voices Flash, the fastest sloth working at Zootopia\'s DMV — the Department of Mammal Vehicles. 

Judy Hopps (Ginnifer Goodwin) is a ground-breaking rabbit trying to make it as a cop in the Zootopia Police Department. 

Bonnie Hunt provides the voice of Bonnie Hopps, Judy\'s mother. Don Lake voices Judy’s father, Stu, a carrot farmer from Bunnyburrow. 

Foxy Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman) is working with a rabbit partner to solve a Zootopia crime.
