7. The TARDIS
The TARDIS. This stands for Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space. It's the Doctor's time machine and spaceship. This spaceship, was able to blend in with its surroundings using something called a Chameleon Circuit. In 1963 the TARDIS's Chameleon Circuit broke down and since then it is stuck in the form of a 1950’s police call box. According to the Doctor, in several episodes, the TARDIS is the classiest way to travel through time and space. The mention I most fondly recall, is in the episode "Utopia", where Jack is talking about his Vortex Manipulator and the Doctor Ответы "I've got a sports car and you've got a bouncing ball!". Most importantly the TARDIS is bigger on the inside and consists of many floors, but the one we see еще often is the Control Room. It even has a pool in a library.

6. He can actually travel through time. The Doctor, with his companions, can travel anywhere in time. He’s even seen the last день of Earth’s existence, and pretty much every moment in between, before или around any historical happening Ты can think of. Im talking everything from chilling with William Shakespeare to sleuthing along side Agatha Christie. And that is just a bit of what actually happens in Doctor Who.

5. It's really funny
If Ты are smart enough to get the jokes, Ты can see that Doctor Who is really funny! The Doctor as an intrepid adventurer he is, is hopelessly inquisitive. And while curiosity may have killed the cat, it only lands the Doctor in the middle of ridiculous situations. I really laughed in the first episode of series 4, in the pantomime scene the Doctor had with Donna. Pretty funny is also the scene where the Doctor is drunk and he's talking to Rose about bananas.

4. It's really scary
For me, the Vashta Nerada are the most terrifying creatures, amongst others. Vashta Nerada means "The Shadows that melt the flesh". They are swarming, carnivorous beings. At first, the image of Dave after being eaten by them isn't really intimidating but if Ты see the entire episode Ты will see how horrifying creatures they are. Ask any Doctor Who Фан and they will tell Ты that, out of all the fiends, the ones that scared them the most were the Weeping Angels, the Empty Child and definitely the Vashta Nerada.

3. The Companions
The Doctor is very old, very nearly immortal and he can come and go anywhere as he pleases. If there’s one thing a man like that needs, it’s something to keep him grounded. Enter his harem of attractive young travelling companions. Even Kylie Minogue came into his world for an episode. The Doctor gets around.

2. The man can't die
When William Hartnell, the actor portraying the first Doctor announced his departure in the 60′s, the writers were forced to come up with a clever way to keep the Показать going. The solution was simple: have the Doctor regenerate into a new body when he is near death. While he retains all of his memories, the Doctor becomes a new man with new quirks every time around.

1. He is full of heart
One thing the Doctor does not lack is heart, Literally, since he has two of them. The Doctor is full of compassion, which is arguably equally important. There are no lengths to which the last Time Lord will not go to make things right and rescue various people in peril throughout Космос and time. The Фаны Любовь this character.
The Doctor himself сказал(-а) it best, “Outside these doors, we might see anything. We could find new worlds, terrifying monsters, impossible things. And if Ты come with me… nothing will ever be the same again!”
