Duncan's P.O.V.


I opened my eyes and staggered downstairs to pick up the phone. I dialed quickly and someone answered.
"Your phone call woke me up." They complained. "What do Ты want?"
"Is Courtney awake yet?"
"Duncan? No. I found her some earplugs in the middle of the night. She says she can't sleep without them."
"Can Ты call me when she wakes up?" I asked.
"Yeah," Gwen yawned. "I can see why she wears earplug. Why do Ты care when she wakes up anyway?"
"I want to see how long I have to live before she kills me for the motorcycle thing." I smirked.
"Ha-ha," she laughed. "Okay. Bye."
"Bye." I hung up and rampaged the fridge, waiting for Courtney's call.

Courtney's P.O.V.


"What time is it?" I asked Gwen, yawning.
"Like 8:00." She moaned.
I yawned again and complained. "It's early."
"Here," Gwen handed me the phone. "Duncan told me to tell Ты to call him as soon as Ты wake up."
"He actually сказал(-а) that?" I questioned, completely surprised.
"Something like that." Gwen yawned and flopped back down on the couch.
I found his number on the phonebook in the phone and dialed.
"Hey Gwen."
"It's Courtney." I told him, narrowing my eyes.
"You realize it's only 8:45, right?" He asked.
"I usually wake up at about 7:30." I explained. "Why did Ты think it was Gwen?"
"My mom got call display for my cell."
"Gwen сказал(-а) Ты wanted me to call you."
"Yeah, how long do I have to live before Ты kill me for the motorcycle thing?"
"I'll have to add that to your Список of faults."
I could picture him smiling evilly. "It's shredded, remember?"
"I have to add that too my letter too." I groaned and hung up before he could Комментарий on it being shredded.
"I'm going to make breakfast, okay?" I told Gwen before I remembered she was asleep. I ran upstairs and browsed through the pantry.

Gwen's P.O.V.


I yawned and rubbed sleep from my eyes. With a glance at the clock I discovered it was 9:17.
"Courtney," I asked, "Are Ты awake?" The диван, мягкий уголок was empty.
I staggered upstairs. "Courtney?"
When I reached the кухня I gasped in shock.
"Wow!"
"You hungry?" Courtney had appeared with a spoon in her hand.
"Definitely! Did Ты really make all this?" I questioned shoving a spoonful of scrambled eggs in my mouth. Mmmm....
"From scratch."
I swallowed the eggs and started to sloppily cut up the golden-brown блины she had made. "No wonder Duncan loves you." I commented, and hacked apart the мешанина, хеш, хэш browns.
Courtney sat down and started to eat a chocolate-chip muffin. "He really сказал(-а) that?"
I nodded, my mouth full of клубника syrup and whipped cream-covered waffles.
She continued to eat her оладья, кекс, маффин in silence.
Suddenly the phone rang and I sprung up to get it.
"Hello?"
"Gwen," The voice sighed in relief. "I was hoping to get you."
I knew the voice instantly. "Trent? Yeah I just woke up. Ты should come over, Courtney makes the most delicious pancakes.
"Courtney's there?"
"Yeah."
"Is Duncan there too?" Trent asked.
I rolled my eyes. "No he left after the movie was over."
He sounded confused now. "But Courtney's still there,"
"Yeah, she fell asleep and we didn't want to wake her up." I explained.
"Oh. So are Ты still going out with me for lunch?"
I smiled. "Of course. Why don't Ты come over now?"
"Okay see Ты in a few minutes."
"Bye." I hung up and dug into the rest of my breakfast.
