I don't get it. I mean they think all we do is cut ourselves, complain about life, etc. That's so NOT true. Some don't cut. And we can smile, laugh every so often. We're just like other people, just a little more depressed and emotional than others.

Of course not, I have friends that aren't emo that are friends with emo people.

In my opinion I hate being emotionally detached from mainly everyone. I dont cut myself though and I dont compain about life there is no point to that in my opinion if you are going to complain about something complain about how you got yourself there or how your keeping yourself there. Being emotionally detached though nearly makes me insane from being lonely. I dont get along with a lot of people but people dont make fun of me like a lot of kids do I never quite understood why they just let me be but I just hate the feeling of if i died today no one would notice you know? It sometimes drives me insane. Although in some odd why I dont want to change ^^. I can see people for what they are you know? They always say the 3rd party see's everything well I see every flaw about someone with ease or what there personality is like, if they are narcissistic, Schizotypal, Schizoid and Histrionic.
