Yes, that's how it works. Ты lose the green medal, but gain a yellow (or lose the yellow and gain a red). Ты can only have one medal per spot at any дана time, so the only thing that changes is the color :)

I think I'm understanding what Ты mean. The way I look at it is that Ты are evolving in the medal scale. It's like money.

Say Ты have ten pennies and then Ты trade them in for a dime. What Ты have is exactly the same but it's a larger denomination. So with medals, Ты have traded in your dedicated for die-hard so the number of Медали Ты have is lower but the value is up....hmm, that doesn't seem to make sense when I write it out.

Basically, I think Ты still have that medal, it's just been upgraded. Your count remains the same but your just higher up on the fanpoppian chain.
