I found a Список of science fiction Фан words that I thought some of Ты guys out there in the Fanpop domain would enjoy (I've tried to define them in relation to Fanpop):

Actifan : A Фан who's active in fandom (by Письмо soapbox articles, starting Форумы etc.)

BNF : a Big Name Fan

Croggle : To shock или Astound (If someone croggles you, Ты are croggled или becroggled)

Egoboo : An ego boost (the sort caused by finding your Статья featured или someone new being a Фан of you)

Egoscan : To skim through an Статья (publication) looking for your name mentioned (like googling yourself)

Faan : A Фан who's...

The "Forgotten" Features of Fanpop

Um, ok so maybe these features aren't THAT secret...

There are a lot of features on Fanpop. Some are well known and others are less well known (there are also a ton of others we *want* to do, but that's for another conversation). Today I thought I would highlight a few of the less-well-known features for you.

Why? Because, dammit, we spent time on these features! Sure picks and Обои might be sexier, but these are the runts of the proverbial Fanpop-litter and they need some time in the spotlight too.

(side note: if Ты already know about these, then consider yourself a very knowledgeable Fanpopper. But if Ты don't...well, here's hoping you...

I'm an observer, I see things happening and continuously in my head I'm going "WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?!?!". What am I talking about exactly? Fanpop has so many features, so many different things that allows us users to do different things all the time yet people aren't using them.

You DON'T need to make your own club to post your Фан fiction. Fanpop has provided Ты with a drop down category in the Статьи to be able to Опубликовать your Фан fiction and for ease of use of other users to find this.

Images > Фан Art
Once again, just like the Фан fiction there is a category...

so, i Присоединиться to fp, like a год ago, but i only start to contribute in janurary +- . for a long time my only contibutuons were for the Brtieny Spears Spot.

Hip-hip-hooray! Wow- I had just hit 20 Фаны and I am so excited. I have been "fanpoping" since last June and frankly at first I joined Fanpop just to get to watch some Видео of my Избранное shows. In the beginning I don't think I even paid attention to whatever was going on with the web-site- Видео were the only thing that mattered. I suppose some people do Присоединиться just for that.
