Congratulations to both Abby and Sully for well achieved 4'th and 5'th place out of all 32 people in the contest! Especially congratulations to Abby for being into top 4 and being the ace in top 4 deck. I love Abby and I'm still kinda sorry I didn't have a proper top 4, but I was also thinking of those voting Sully and I think this is maybe the best.

I wanted to make it longer than usual, cause it's semifinals and I wanted to make as much people to vote. Maybe even to break last year's record of 40 people. And I want some time to make Top 3 posters!

Sorry, not attacking anyone, but I don't find a single thing likeable about him, and top three? I can't imagine THAT much genuine Richard love, especially to beat Danny, Sully, ABBY?! Unless "get others to vote too" means get people who don't actually watch the show...

Wow, sorry for the mini rant, but my first thought after seeing he was there is "WTH?"

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I like him and few others seam to do too. I don't attack anyone for liking Jimmy or anyone else for that matter. Abby and Sully got three votes each last time, Richard 4. It's not much, I know, but it is something. I'm pleasently surprised to see him in top 3. Anyway, although you are presumably a new member, welcome to the pick game and I hope you'll stay for finals.

And many popular characters, like Danny and Chloe didn't get any votes due to only like 5 people participating from the beginning.

And why is that thing with people that thing everyone has to love same characters. I really do love Richard, katie11 loves Lucy and Katherine, and I know a guy who's favorite is Maggie. I don't see why all have to vote the same. Not attacking either, but tired of justifying why I love Richard or Madison.

There isn't alot of reasons to like Richard. Oh and Robothor1111 isn't new. He was here from beginning but went away and has apparently came back

You're entitled to like Richard. I'm not 'intolerant' to those who do - actually Madison and Nikki one of my favorites, so it's not like I love Henry, Abby, and Jimmy and dislike everyone who is lesser shown in the series. I'm just saying that Richard (as well as some others) have zero qualities that I find appealing. But to me, people who cheat, especially to piss someone else off, are immediately unlikeable beyond repair. And the way he treated Henry and Malcolm. But I'm not saying people need to get thrown into an asylum if they like Richard or someone else who I'm not a fan of.

And yes, I was here before. I've been a fanpop member since August of 2009 and I used to be a lot more active on this particular club. I've just been spending some time on other ones.

And I'm not really insulted. I disliked Richard's cheeting too, but I LOVED him overall. I love how he cared for Trish.

And just tell me one thing: Do you like Katherine? Because, one thing I find really weird that I come across on this board is people who love Katherine and hate Richard. I think: If you hate cheaters, than you should dislike them both, and if you're fine with it, then you should like them both.

Me, personally, dislike cheating like in real life, but I don't mind it when I love the characters. And both of them are in my top 10. But I think that people (especially girls) are more tolerrant with female cheating, which I find very weird.

Also, I think Richard is a good person overall, he loves Madison and Shea (although the affair). And he saved Trish. And even people who are copmletely evil, like Henry and Wakefield, can have fans. Those are characters, not actual people we know. Some really evil characters, like Voldemort or Freddy Kruger can be quite compelling, while some actually really nice people can come across really boring and uniteresting as a chacacters.

And I'm not calling you intollerant in particular, I'm just saying people in general can be quite a pain when anyone disagrees. But I don't think you are:)

Also I find it very funny that most people dislike Richard for what he did TO SHEA, while very much disliking Shea herself too. Completely contradictorious.

No, I'm not a fan of Katherine, but I don't hate her because it must be hard being a trophy wife and stepmother to daughters who first, resent her, and second, are about as old as she is. So I don't like her, largely because of the adultury, but I can sympathize a bit.

I completely see people who don't like Richard for cheating and still dislike Shea. I feel bad for anyone who's spouse physically abuses them, cheats on them, or otherwise treats them badly regardless of how I like them themselves. I don't understand people who dislike someone because of cheating and then love someone else who cheated, or hate someone for hitting their spouse or kids and liking someone else that does it, but disliking someone for cheating and then not liking the person they're doing it to, I think is okay. I mean I would never say "I don't like him for cheating on you, but I don't like you either so I guess I can't get mad." Just me, that sounds really insensitive.

But I do like Shea so...

I don't really feel bad for Shea, cause I don't think they had a very good realtionship. But i kinda blame it more on Richard cause he had a little girl, so he shouldn't be having affairs when he has a child. Whereas Katherine had two STEP-DAUGHTERS, WHO AREN'T LITTLE ANYMORE.
