Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
10 Things You (Maybe) Didn\'t Know About "Jurassic World"
Hey guys, this is my second time writing a post to MoviePilot and I\'m honored to post "10 things you (maybe) didn\'t know about "Jurassic World". These trivia facts are brought to you part by IMDb fans. Some of us in the internet are thinking "Why would I want to know this. All I have to do is Eat, Hunt and (fist bumping)" I hope some of you guys got that reference. Let\'s begin!!
The car that was repaired by Zach and Gray is numbered "29", which is exactly the same number as the tourist car that John Hammond rode in the beginning of Jurassic Park (1993). Coincidence much??
As said in the movie, the hybrid dinosaur is a hybrid of some dinosaurs like the T-rex and velociraptors. But as Bryce Dallas Howard\'s character said the rest are "Classified". Well thanks to Jurassic Park Wiki, the hybrid dinosaur is a mix of some of the known species that were used in the creation of the Indominus Rex are Carnotaurus, Giganotosaurus, Majungasaurus, and Rugops, as well as modern animals like cuttlefish and an unknown type of Tree frog. Some things that I want to point out is the horns on the Indominus rex. The horns that the Indominus Rex has come from the Allosaurus and the spikes from a Ankylosaurus. That\'s why the Indominus was immune to bullets
According to the website designed to look like its the real website of the park,
Jurassic World has been open since 2005.
The release date of Jurassic World (2015) 12th June 2015 is oriented on the release date of the first franchise movie Jurassic Park (1993) which was released on 11th June 1993
Many members of the cast have appeared in films or series based on Marvel comics:
Chris Pratt played Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)
Bryce Dallas Howard Howard played Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3 (2007)
Irrfan Khan played an Oscorp executive in The Amazing Spider-Man (2012)
Omar Sy played Bishop in X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)
and Vincent D\'Onofrio played Wilson Fisk in Daredevil (2015).
6. The T-rex in this film is the same T-rex from Jurassic Park (1993)
As said above me, It\'s been confirmed that the T-rex in "Jurassic World" is the same T-rex from Jurassic Park (1993). To backup my thesis, The T-rex in Jurassic World has some scars on its right side of the neck. If you remember in "Jurassic Park", velociraptor attacked the T-rex on the same spot on the right side of the neck. Evidence is down below
7. First Female Death in the Jurassic Park Franchise?
Zara (Claire\'s assistance) was reported to be the first female death in the Jurassic Park series prior to this film\'s release. However, this is not true. One of the Asset Containment Unit (ACU) members that is killed by the Indominus Rex earlier in the film is shown to be female. I personally think that Zara deserve to die. She was a b*tch to the kids.
"oh my god!! I\'m next to Chris Freakin Pratt" -Echo
Several actors were considered to play Owen Grady, the new lead character of Jurassic World. Garrett Hedlund, Jason Statham, John Krasinski, Jason Sudeikis, Josh Brolin, Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, and Glenn Howerton were reportedly among the top contenders before Chris Pratt was cast in the role.
This is something people don\'t realize. Behind every great idea, theres a great mind and for Jurassic World and that mind is Simon Masrani. CEO of the Masrani Corp. and creator of the prehistoric attractions that guy is an entrepreneur person. Simon follows the footsteps of John Hammond in the idea of bringing back Dinosaurs.
Jurassic World isn\'t just prehistoric, it\'s historic: Dinosaurs are romping and stomping all over the box office like it\'s 1993 again. The latest installment in the franchise started by Jurassic Park 22 years ago chomped down on the competition in epic fashion. According to studio estimates from Rentrak, the movie\'s opening weekend haul of $204.6 million is the biggest so far of 2015 and the second-best ever behind 2012\'s The Avengers ($207.4 million). The movie churned up $82.8 million Friday, ranking it as third all time behind 2011\'s Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2 ($91.1 million) and May\'s Avengers: Age of Ultron ($84.4 million).
Were you surprised by these "Jurassic World" facts? I guess Andy was.
