\'Game Of Thrones\' Season 5 Theories: 4 Things Fans Want To See In 2015
Can Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen) get back in the good graces of Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) in Season 5 of "Game of Thrones"?  HBO
Season 5 of “Game of Thrones” is only a few months away, and fans could not be more excited for the new episodes. We’ve already made a list of things we know are coming in 2015, from the most anticipated scenes to a list of new locations making their debut. But there is much more on our wish list for the show’s return, even if the books or plain common sense tell us they will never happen.
Here are four things we’d love to see, but probably won’t, in Season 5 of “Game of Thrones”:
Few have suffered on “Game of Thrones” more than the perpetually friend-zoned Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen). In Season 4, Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) banished the adviser and bodyguard from Meereen after discovering that he had previously sold information on her whereabouts to King’s Landing in exchange for a royal pardon. If only Daenerys could see just how much loyalty and love Jorah has for his queen and overlook his little mistake. His whereabouts are currently unknown to fans, but we’d love to see him find a way to win back her favor.
The Stark children – Arya (Maisie Williams), Sansa (Sophie Turner) and Bran (Isaac Hempstead-Wright) – are starting to remind us of the Baudelaire orphans from “A Series of Unfortunate Events” -- their parents killed, never calling a place home for long, and constantly navigating a rotating list of schemers out to use them for their own gain. However, at least the Baudelaire siblings had each other to lean on when things got rough. The Starks, on the other hand, have no such luck. They are not even sure that the others are alive. We would love to see them cross paths again and reunite with the frighteningly few surviving Starks for some long-overdue family grieving. Alas, with the three siblings on opposite corners of the world, it doesn’t look like any such rendezvous will come anytime soon.
Since saving the city from Stannis Baratheon’s (Stephen Dillane) invading army, Tyrion Lannister’s (Peter Dinklage) fate has been similar to that of Rodney Dangerfield – he can’t get any respect. In fact, he was repaid for his heroic triumph by being edged out of power by his ungrateful father (Charles Dance) and eventually wrongly accused of Joffrey’s (Jack Gleeson) murder. Now that he’s escaped prison and dealt a vicious amount of vengeance, we’d love to see him regain some glory. However, with the character going into hiding that does not look likely.
Life is rough on the wall, especially if it’s being attacked by a Wildling army and visited by Stannis Baratheon’s army with a hoard of White Walkers not far behind. Through all of this, Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) has stayed calm, cool, and collected, even after watching his Wildling love, Ygritte (Rose Leslie), die in battle. As Jon Snow looks to become the leader at Castle Black it would be nice for him to find love again to help ease the stress of defending the wall, but you know the rules! Plus, with Ygritte out of the picture it is doubtful anyone will come along with the toughness to steal his heart again.
