Blue Fedora trotted down to the river bank, trying to find shiny pebbles and little shiny bits that he could use to decorate hats. As he shuffled along the muddy shore, he noticed a shape lying not far off, muddy and slumped on the river side. He warily trotted over, and noticed it was a mare. He blinked, unsure of what to think. Was it… dead? He prodded the mare’s side with his hoof. She gave a slight twitch and started coughing violently. He jumped back, startled. The mare tried to drag herself into a sitting position, but suffered another bout of coughing and slumped to the ground. She fell unconscious again, and Blue Fedora stood there, unsure of what to do. He sighed, and lifted her up with his head first, and slung her over his back, stumbling from the added weight. He trotted back home, forgetting about decorating his hats.
Aqua woke up, lying on a red диван, мягкий уголок in front of a fireplace. She moved her leg and winced, her whole body was sore, she had a pounding headache, and she was chilled to the bone. She shifted a little under the light blue blanket that was draped over her, grateful for the warmth it gave. She felt drowsy, the warmth of the огонь warming her up, and the steady tick-tock of a grandmaster clock by the Стена started to lull her to sleep. She snapped back to being awake again when she heard the creak of an old floorboard. She shuffled into an upright position and looked over her shoulder. There was a blue unicorn stallion with yellow eyes and a розовый mane standing there, levitating a sammich with his magic, which was pink. “Erm… hi.” He сказал(-а) a little awkwardly. Aqua nodded and layed back down, wrapping the blanket closer to her. He entered the room again moments later, levitating a tray with Еда and tea. He placed it on the coffee таблица in front of the couch, and sat down in a chair. “Well, I see you’re awake.” He сказал(-а) to her. She pried her eyes off the flickering embers and looked up at him. “yeah.” She сказал(-а) hoarsely. “What’s your name? I guess I should tell Ты mine. I’m Blue Fedora. Pleased to make your acquaintance.” He said, pouring чай into one of the teacups and sliding it over to her. “Aqua Marine. Thanks, by the way.” She said, picking the cup up. “What I would like to ask Ты though, is how Ты ended up on the river bank anyways?” he asked her. She blew on her чай and sipped it, trying to think of how to explain what had happened. “I-er, I slipped. Over a gorge.” She said. Blue Fedora raised an eyebrow and nibbled a piece of cake. “Slipped? Are Ты sure?” he asked her. “Are Ты sure Ты want the full, honest truth?” she said. He shrugged. “Well, sure, I guess so.” Aqua relaxed on the couch. “Well, a mare attacked me, and we had a fight, and I pushed her off the edge, and she pulled me down with her. I wonder if she’s alive?” Aqua said. “That’s it? Wait, what was that last part?” he said. Aqua rolled over. “Nuthin’. Good night.” She said.
The Далее morning, Blue Fedora woke up and trotted into the living room to check on Aqua Marine. He saw her sneaking to the door. “Where are Ты going?” he сказал(-а) with a yawn. “home.” She said, grabbing the handle of the door. “I don’t really think Ты should go just yet. You’re not well enough.” He сказал(-а) to her, walking down the stairs. “I'm well enou—oh, ow! That smarts.” She winced, stumbling a little. “Exactly. Now sit your butt on the диван, мягкий уголок and stay there until you’re well enough to travel.” Aqua snorted. “fine.” She sat down on the диван, мягкий уголок and pouted. “There. Now, I’ll make breakfast. How does eggs, блины and biscuits sound?” he said, trotting into the kitchen. “Yeah, sure, whatever.” Aqua said, lying back down.
Outside the window, a green unicorn with a red mane and several ear piercings watched, listening. She quickly wrote something down on a pad of paper and ran off. She entered a small building tucked away at the end of an alley. вишня Bomb sat there, equally as battered as Aqua Marine. She trotted up and tossed the pad of paper beside her. вишня Bomb lifted up the paper and read it, smirking evilly. “Good work, Musia. Ты make an excellent spy.” Musia just snorted and slumped down in a chair. “I’m just in it for the money. You’re lucky I even let Ты take refuge in this hell-hole of a house.” She growled at her. “What’s your problem with this Aqua Marine chick, anyway?” she said. вишня Bomb looked away. “It shall never be spoken of.” She hissed, closing her eye. “It is my secret to keep.”
