FANS were ecstatic when Outlander picked up two big wins at the People\'s Choice Awards 2016.
Outlander was named Favourite Cable TV SciFi/Fantasy Show at the awards, while actress Caitriona Balfe was named Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Actress.
The show beat off tough competition from American Horror Story, Game of Thrones, Teen Wolf and The Walking Dead to pick up the prestigious award.
And it\'s not just the fans who have been celebrating - the show\'s cast and crew have taken to social media show their delight at the results.
Stars including Caitriona, Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish, as well as executive producers Maril Davis and Matthew B. Roberts, have been tweeting about the People\'s Choice Award wins.
Even Outlander author Diana Gabaldon got in on the act.

Fans will now be hoping that this is the start of another successful year for Outlander.
The show is nominated for Best Drama Series at the Golden Globes, which takes place on January 10.
Outlander have nominations in two other categories, with Caitriona Balfe in the running for Best Drama Actress and Tobias Menzies shortlisted for Best Supporting Actor.
