Why is it everyone puts a label on you?

Uhh...I'm guessing Ты haven't read a psychology book lately. Stereotypes and labels saves people time. Think about it. If humans didn't have the ability to label others, then the process of getting to know a person raises the time exponentially. Simply, its being observational and resourceful to label people. Its applying one thing to another. Its not wrong to stereotype people, but I'm not saying that all the stereotypes are true. In that case, people just has to add on to the stereotypes and label to get YOU, instead of relying on the tacked on knowledge.

I agree, yet it's healthy at the same time. Labels are how I made my best friend.
I am that rich-kid, and it's not fair. Just cause my dad is high in the social ladder doesn't mean I don't have feelings. And I am that loner, Ты know? I am awkward. Doesn't do much. But Labels hurt, yet we can't help it. It's what makes us human.

I know! I mean, I don't like being called a geek because I'm "smart." I hate being labeled too, even when u don't look like one! I also hate stereotyping.

i loath labels. Luckily nobody really has labels at my school. I just refer them as "The one boy who wears a suit to class everyday" Ты know stuff like that

I apparently have Bipolar disorder, says everyone at my school -_-.
And I agree, it is never fun to be labeled, I'm the geeky/punk/tomboy person. To many slashes, but that seems to be what 'fits' my personalty...

People need to quit it, it get annoying.

I'm ok with people calling me Готика или a tomboy (and I mean tomboyish to the extream. xD ) because well it's true.

Today, (well actually yesterday, but whatever ^^') I got called 'emo' for the billionth time. I hate how if people see someone whos a bit less than happy, или is a loner, they instintly just think emo, или that they cut themselves.. -.-

Nobody puts labels on me... I'm like the blurry lines between emo/geek/don't-care-dudes.

It's really funny at my school ppl call the Популярное group the gang it's funny LOL I am one of those unpopular smart ppl I take it offensively when I am called a geek but when someone calls me a nerd I take it as there saying I'm smart but it's ok cause I got two BF's who are really nice

Because, unfortunately, people are born to be labeled.
