How Do Ты Feel About the Way People Were Treated in Mental Hospitals?(Especially the Abandoned Ones)

I was actually sent to a mental hospital once (I was suffering from severe OCD and depression at the time).

I certainly wasn't abused или experimented on like people in old places like that. Some of the patients were pretty out there, though. But I actually really enjoyed them as people. They were Друзья to me, and I'd hate to see the people I knew being treated like that.

Somehow, though, despite all this, I Любовь the concept of old mental hospitals. Not as something I'd like to go through или see other people go through, it just fascinates me.

It intrigues me, and one of the things I really want to do in my lifetime is spend the night in an abandoned insane asylum.

I don't know what it is, but old mental hospitals have an allure and mystique to them that nothing else really does.

Yes, it's a sad and depressing concept and I know that it might be wrong for me to look at it softly and with fondness, but I Любовь the idea, and I'm fascinated by it.

I feel sorry for the patients they cant help be sick but really there is nothing we can do because most of this crap happened along time назад so it just history.
